How the lot started
The founders spent years watching California cars leave washes looking streaked by midday, or sitting for hours at detail counters for work that could have been a strong exterior reset. Washer Care Plus opened on Oxnard Street with a narrower promise: master the express wash, protect paint with soft cloth discipline, and keep the menu readable for first time guests.
Early months were spent tuning. Pre-soak dwell changed with seasonal pollen. Wheel chemistry was tested against stubborn brake dust from canyon and freeway mixes. Exit dryers were balanced so water did not hide in mirror housings only to drip across clean doors in the parking stalls. Those experiments became the tunnel rhythm guests still move through today.
By August 18 2026, memberships and weekly drivers had shaped the Plus Shine package into the default choice for most vehicles, while Interior Bay became the reset button for rideshare and family haulers. The brand name stayed literal on purpose — washer care, plus the extras that actually matter.
